Our grading system is not based on any agreed standard nor on anyone else's idea of quality. It is used only as a guide.
It roughly means as follows:
Fair
Fairly well played over the years but on a Goldring deck and always treated with care. It still plays, but there is bound to be substantial wear if you use an electron microscope. There might be slight surface noise noticeable without filters. The sleeve will likewise be in 'worn' condition. We are not offering for sale any records which are not playable.
Good
Better than fair but still played quite a bit. Likely to be in pretty good condition and reasonably clean.
Excellent
Much as good, but played a lot less and looking and playing much cleaner. Sleeve generally in pretty good condition.
Near mint
Played, but hardly at all, up to half a dozen times at most. Sleeve in perfect condition.
Mint
Mostly not played at all, or only once. As close as the condition of a newly bought record as is possible.

The condition of the records is variable, but all are playable and most are in excellent condition.

is a 78 rpm 10 inch 'thick' vinyl record, with the original brown paper sleeve. Offers are invited from serious collectors with an eye for
